Whether you have had lower back pain, you want to prevent future lower back challenges, or you just want to strengthen your lower back and core, this Spinal Alignment Routine may be supportive. One of my Ayurveda teachers was partially paralyzed from a gymnastics accident when he was in his early 20s. Through Ayurveda, proper diet, lifestyle, breath work and movement he was able to make a full recovery. This routine above was derived from his daily practice that he used to help heal, strengthen and prevent lower back injury. You can vary the reps and numbers of each exercise of course. As we age it is important to view movement as something we also do to protect ourselves from injuries. That is why simple preventative practices like this can come in super handy!
